'The Emperor'

For this card I referenced a photo taken of an African tribal leader who was photographed wearing this opulent gold and teal metallic headpiece symbolising his crown. On the original photo the leader has a bird detail emerging from the top of his crown which I’ve replaced with a black panther. I chose a black panther to represent the movement that had started in the 60’s and the strength, determination and leadership that the movement carried. All traits which this card is used to symbolise.
