'The Fool'

The fool in most tarot decks is traditionally depicted to show a boy embarking on a new adventure and on the brink of taking a risk/ taking a step into a new unknown. However there are some versions where the card illustrates a joker type subject dressed in the traditional jester attire. I went with the latter as I felt it far more fitting for the times that we are in. Now every risk you take and choice you make feels as though it can be seen for everyone to judge and I feel there’s far more weight to every decision made. In a world where social media and the internet is almost unavoidable it can sometimes seem as though we are living in a fishbowl or playing out our lives on a stage for everyone to watch and ridicule.
